Rector and Cunningham Leads Attack With Two Touchdowns Each

Spring City, TN -- Spring City Middle football pushed their record to 3-1 with another impressive win at home. They put this one away in first half as they carried a 30-0 lead into halftime over Robertsville Middle out of Oak Ridge area. Scoring was more scarce in second half but Bulldogs held the Rams scoreless while scoring a touchdow of their own for the final 38-0 margin. With 4:16 quarterback Ethan Cunningham found a seam on the home sidelines and battled his way into the end zone for the sixth and final touchdown of the night for Spring City. Kaiden Recctor followed the offensive line up the middle for the two-point conversion to push the lead to 38-0 for the Bulldogs for second half.

For the game Kaiden Rector and Ethan Cunningham each scored two touchdowns, while Zane Walker and Tyler Lee each scored a touchdown. Tyler Lee added a two point conversion for the final 38 points for the Bulldogs.

Coach Anthony Loden talked about the success fo the improving Bulldogs.

"The offensive line went hard the entire game. The Defense was stingy and played lights out. Very hard hitting bunch."

"Big game coming up on next Thursday against Rhea Middle School."
