Bulldgos Go 9-0 In Dominating Season

Spring City, TN --  Bulldogs Defeat Norris and CAK to finish their regular season with a 9-0 record.  Not only did Bulldogs go unbeaten, but it has been a dominating season.  The Bulldogs scored 411 points(45.6 avg) while giving up 132(14.6 avg).  Spring City scored at least 38 points in all their games and finished with their highest point total of the season with 66-28 win over Christian Academy of Knoxville(CAK).  CAK came into the game with a 1-6 record on the year.

Alloway has done the majority of the scoring for the Bulldogs, but Keshawn Smith, Cooper Bracket, KeShawn Smith, Ethan Mosley, Austin Dodd, Carter Jollay, Ethan Cunningham, Caleb Carr and others also found the end zone.  Obviously several players improved over the year as the team was outstanding.  A couple of players who progressed very well were KeShawn Smith and Lelan Carden.  Quarterback Caleb Carr was very steady running the offense and make no mistake, a major part of the offense was handing the ball to Latron Alloway who accounted for over 80% of the offense on the year.    He along with 16 other 8th graders will be moving on to the high school next year, which means another retoooling for Coach Anthony Loden, who has been coaching at Spring City for around 15 years, every since former coach Cook asked him to join the staff.

Coach Loden said, "I am very proud of our teams performance This year.  We began seson with little experience and big holes to fill.   I was very satisfied with the progress of the team this year.  To go without a loss in an accomplishment these kids can be proud of for this team."

Over the last 8 seasons, the Spring City football program has been outstanding with 3 unbeaten seasons and only one season with less than 7 wins, the 4-4 season in 2018.  That equates to an 86% winning percentage.
