Spring City Gets Big Road Win at Rhea Middle

1/4/24 Evensville, TN

Spring City Middle wins 45-39 over Rhea Middle School in road basketball game on January 4, 2024. Spring City got big road win at RMS with a good 11-4 first quarter start. Four different Bulldogs hit the scoring column in the quarter with Jayden Fitzgerald, Mack Chattin and Harlan Thomas scoring in the quarter. Fitzgerald(2) and Chattin(1) hit three bombs to held the Bulldogs to win the second quarter 13-8 to push their lead to 24-12 at the halftime horn.

Rhea Middle fought back in the second half, winning the half 27-21 to cut into the margin, but Bulldogs held on for the 45-39 win. Elijah Norman scored 11 of his game high 15 points for the Bulldogs in the second half and he also pulled down 10 rebounds, while blocking 7 shots.
