Chattanooga, TN 3/18/24 -- Rhea County dropped road game vs Silverdale on 3/18/24. Silverdale opened their first with run by Drake Dills after a walk and hit by Bayne. Eagles tied game in the 4th on run by Dawson Mickel, who singled to open inning and scored as Massengill walked and Rex Pendergrass singled. Drake Dill drove home a run for Silverdale to take the lead 2-1. They later added a run in the six when Jonathan Oxford scored. Rex Pendergrass took the loss for the Eagles, giving up 3 runs in 4 1/3 innings and Kilby pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief. Mason Jones picked up win for Silverdale with 6 innings of one run ball, while allowing 2 hits, 10 strikeouts and 4 walks on the night. Jacob Murray pitched one inning of scoreless relief for Silverdale.
At the "Playing for a Cure Tournament" the Eagles dropped their opening game to Ravenwood17-1. They also lost to William Blount 8-2, and Alcoa 9-7.
