Sherri Corder Obituary

June 24, 1961 ~ April 22, 2024

Sherri Annette (Sullivan) Corder, age 62, passed away on April 22, 2024, at Erlanger Hospital, surrounded by her family.  Sherri was a life-long resident of Dayton, of Christian religion and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was a Wrap Facilitator/Case manager for the juvenile justice reform program with Volunteer Behavioral Health . Sherri loved her job, to her it wasn’t just a job, she loved helping the youth and their families. She was a great advocate for children and families of Rhea County and the surrounding area. Prior to Volunteer, she worked at the South East Tennessee Human Resource Agency (SETHRA) for many years with the Caring, Inc. program as family support specialist. She donated her time after work to help children and their families. Sherri loved her family and especially Brayliegh and Grayson “Dew”.

Sherri is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ann Sullivan; son, Ethan Raymond; sister, Vickie Sullivan.

She is survived by her three children, Jonathan (Cynthia) Raymond of Dunlap, Julie (Jamie) Dorn of Dayton, Ben (fiancé Jennifer Nance) Corder of Dayton; brother, Robby (Sheryl) Sullivan of Griffin, GA; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild;  two nieces, and Brayleigh and Grayson “Dew”.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, with Rev. Von Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Rigsby Cemetery.
