Bulldogs Win, Lady Bulldogs Lose Vs Tellico
11/16/23 - Spring City, TN
Spring City splits varsity games with visiting Tellico Plains on Thursday night. Bulldogs won 44-38 against Tellico. Five different players scored for Bulldogs in the 11-7 first quarter. Teams played even in second quarter, resulting in 16-12 halftime lead for Spring City. They increased that lead with 18-13 third quarter edge on their way to the 44-38 win. Mack Chattin(13) and Harlan Thomas(11) led the Bulldogs in scoring.
Tellico hit the Lady Bulldogs with a 20-4 first quarter on their way to the 43-29 win. After the first quarter, the Lady Bulldogs essentially played even in the loss. Jaslyn Butler led all scorers with 16 points. Three Tellico players, Jaiden Moses, Jaylin Frerids and Lilli Wear, scored 9 points to lead the Junior Bear in the win.
