Lady Bulldogs Lose On Road 38-22 to Chilhowee Middle School
Spring City, Tennessee, 11/6/23
Spring City splits two games recently. The Lady Bulldogs lost on the road at Chilhowee 38/22, before returning home for a 23-19 win. Jaslyn Butler was the leading scorer in both games. She scored 22 points against Greenback and scored 11 points against Chilhowee. Spring City used a big 7-1 advantage in the second quarter to take a 11-4 halftime lead. Greenback won the second half scoring 15-12, but Spring City held on for the win. Ali Garland led Greenback with 16 points.
Chilhowee sprinted out to a 23-4 lead against the Lady Bulldogs in the 38-22 win. Spring City fought back with an 18-15 advantage in the second half in the 38-22 loss. Peyton Berry and Kloe Rector had 6 and 5 points each to support Butler.
Spring City was on the road at Etowah on November 7th before hosting Dayton City School on November 9th.
