Lady Eagles win behind 18 points from AnnaKate Hennessee

Evensville, TN 1/4/23

Rhea Middle School girls basketball team won a home game vs up-county rival Spring City Middle School 52-38 on January 4, 2023. A big second quarter pushed the Lady Eagle lead to 28-17 at halftime, with Hennessee providing 8 of the 18 second-quarter points. Spring City responded with 10-9 third quarter to stay close, but Lady Eagles keep the lead at double digits until the final 52-38 score. The Lady Eagles were very intense on defense with very good full court press in the game. Supporting Hennessee in scoring were Landree Brown with 11, and Abigayle Kelly with 9 points. Others scorers were: Gracie Lovelady 4, Lakyn Geer 3, Presley Bradshaw 3, Lila Reel 2 and Bella Peavyhouse 2.

Scoring for Lady Bulldogs were Khloe Rector 14, Jaslyn Butler 10, Peyton Berry 10 and Kenley Whitcomb 4.
