December 8, 1949 - July 27, 2024

Mrs. Rhonda Hill Purser, 74, of Dayton, TN unexpectedly passed away at her home on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Rhonda was born to Caleb “Shep” and Virgina Jo Hill December 8, 1949. She was a lifelong resident of Dayton, graduating from Rhea Central High School in 1967, and a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, Caleb “Shep” and Virginia “Jo” Hill.

Mrs. Purser is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jim Purser; two sisters, Beverly Hicks and Reba Everett and one brother Bart (Debbie) Hill. Rhonda is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews whom she cared for and loved as if they were her own children.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 2PM in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with burial following in Buttram Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8PM Monday July 29, 2024, at the funeral home.
