Rhea Middle Honors 8th Graders

Evensville, TN -- Rhea Middle School softball team won 10-0 with their win over visiting Tellico on 8th grade night for the Lady Eagles. The Eagles used a six run third inning to power the win and Allie Shaver was almost perfect on the mound in 4 innings of work. Shaver allowed one hit and struck out nine on the night. At the plate, Lakyn Lockhart ent 3-3 to pace the hitters. Lady Eagles had 9 hits, 6 walks and 2 hit batsman on the night. Rhea Middle sits in first place in district play as playoffs are just around the corner.
Eigth graders for 2020 are Chelsea Reel, Allie Shaver, Lakyn Lockhart, Galilee Rayner, Cali Milchak, Ashlyn Futrell, and Paisley Wilson. Lady Eagles are coached by Whitney Thompson and Morgan Hopkins.
