Lady Eagles Finish 3rd of 6 teams at Home Meet
Evensville,TN 3/30/23
Rhea County Lady Eagles finished third in recent home meet with Ocoee, Lake Forest, Athens City, Mountain View and Christ's Legacy. The Lady Eagles finished with 73 points, behind 80.5 points by Athens City and 116 points by Ocoee Middle School. Other scores were 55.5 by Lake Forest, 26 by Mountain View and 7 by Christ's Legacy.
Jo Bishop finished first in 100 meter hurdles with 17.69 time, as a highlight of the Rhea Middle performance Jo also had a second place finish in Long Jump. Presley Bradshaw had a first place finish in shot put and teammates Abigayle Kelly, Shya Dunigan, Keylin Reece and Bella Peavyhouse took 3rd through 6th. Liberty Raymer had a second place finish in the 800 meter run with 2:45.69 time. The Rhea Middle relay teams had two third place finishes(4X200 and 4X400 relays) and a fourth place finish in the 4X100 relay. Running the 4X400 relay were Lexi Walker, Shya Dunigan, Mollie Smith and Zoe Reese. Running the 4X200 relay were Lila Reel, Gracie Lovelady, Karen Lopez and Liberty Raymer. Running the 4X100 relay were Destiny Price, Karen Lopez, Parker Hennessey and Lila Reel.
