Rhea County Competes at Lee University Invite

Cleveland, TN -- The Rhea County Track and Field team traveled to Cleveland on Friday to compete with several local teams in the Lee University Invite Meet on a cold windy day. Ann Moses posted the best finish for Rhea with a second place finish in the girls 100 meter hurdles final and Alex Moss had thrid place finishes in 300 meter hurdles finals and the triple jump finals.

Cleveland won the girls' division and Walker Valley finished first in boys' division. Eagles finihsed 7th and the Lady Eagles finished 9th.

Several Eagles and Lady Eagles posted PRs on a cold windy day. Jayden Goodwin 100m 11.61,Colton Parten 200m 24.22, Sam Sosebee 800m 2:10.36, William Thien Ta 1600m 5:11,.29, Stephen Kerley 3200m 11:22.45, Alvin Bishop 3200 11:43.04, Caitlin King 200 32.01Kloee Maerki 400 1:12.8, Lydia Hurd 400 1:22.2, Savannah Tilley 800 3:12.95, Karley Eggers Big Time 3200 PR from 15:10 to 13:41.19, Bailey Brown 100H 21.88 and 300H 62.21Shaylie Needham 300H 58.31.
