Lady Eagles win 7-0 over White County: Advance to Play Warren

Evensville, TN --  Rhea County Lady Eagles soccer team opened with 7-0 win over White County on Saturday at home to advance on to play Warren County at Warren County on Tuesday night at 7 pm EST.  The Eagles were led by Senior Sophie White, who had three goals and 2 assists on the night.  White put the first goal in with 21:44 left in first half.  With 6 minutes left in half, senior Kinsley Ervin scored with assit from Emma Reeves and 2-0 was the score at the end of first half.

Sophie White began the second half scoring at 36:01, with assist from Shaylee Needham.  Michaela Reeves scored the second goal of second half with assist from Abaigail Ives to push the Eagle lead to 4-0 with 24:59 left in game.  Sophie White didn't wait long to push the margin to 5-0 with her third goal with 22:39 left in the game.   Allison Prescott scored from way out fron with assist from Ives with 5:35 to make the margin 6-0.  Emma Reeves setup Shaylee Needham for header just in front of goal for final 7-0 margin.  McKinley Mathis did not allow a goal, but business was not brisk as Eagles kept the ball on the White County side of midfield for most of the night and they had 25 shots on goal.  Mathis had one save on night.

Eagles will look to advance to Championship game on Tuesday night on road at Warren County with 7 pm est start time.
