Junior Varsity Fall 3-0 to Signal

Signal Mountain, TN -- 3/19/24 -- RCHS Eagles traveled the windy roads up to Signal Mountain Tuesday evening, March 19th, to battle against the SMHS Eagles.  JV game battled first, coming up shy with a loss of 3-0.  Varsity followed at 7pm, battling with wind and low temperatures, on top of the comparable skill level of the other Eagles.  A couple of misplaced bobbles inside the 18 box put Signal Mountain ahead at halftime 2-0.  Our Rhea County Eagles came out stronger the second half with several drives down the field but unfortunately remained scoreless at the end of regulation time, ending in a loss of 2-0.  The Eagles will prepare for the Trojan Nike Invitational in Soddy Daisy this coming Friday and Saturday.
