Lady Eagles Win 48-39 Over Tellico Plains In Hall of Fame Game
Evensville, TN -- 11/14/23
Rhea County Lady Eagles opened their 2023 season with a 48-39 win over Tellico Plains in the Hall of Fame Tournament game. Tellico opened with the early lead and won first quarter behind Kate Hicks' 9 points of her game high 25 points. Jenna Burchard led the Eagles in second quarter as they close gap to 25-20 at halftime. Lady Eagles erased the 5-point lead and took their own lead 35-30 after three quarters. Lakyn Lockhart had big fourth quarter with 7 as Lady Eagles held on for the 48-39 win. Kate Hicks lead all scorers with 25 points. Jenna Burchard(16) and Lakyn Lockhart(13) led the Lady Eagles. The Lady Eagles had six three-point baskets in the game.
