Rhea County Football Continues to Roll at 6-0: Head to Red Bank Next

Ooltewah, TN -- Rhea County continued their three game road trip with game against Ooltewah on October 4, 2019 after their 42-14 win on road at Gibbs.

Rhea County had a slow first half offensively compared to recent games but with Ochoa made a field goal and Bradley scored touchdown with 1:30 left until halftime.

In third quarter, the Eagles opened up the offense with two more Bradley Goodwin touchdowns to offset a Greenhill td run by Ooltewah. Eagles led at end of three quarters 26-7.

In the fourth quarter, the Eagles spread out the scoring with Nathaniel Ferry and Ryan Young each scoring touchdowns to push final score to 37-7.

Rhea County ran for 327 yards on 49 carries with their leading rusher, Jackson Langley on the bench with injury. Eagles added 65 yards on passing for 392 yards of total offense. The Eagle defense held the Owls to 183 yard total offense.

Leading the way for Eagles on the ground was Dalton Hampton with 111 yards on 13 carries. Ryan Young continues to provide a good third option(moved up to second for this game) with 84 yards on 18 carries as he had a lot of the between the tackles runs for the Eagles. Bradley Goodwin known as premium defender at linebacker spot added 72 yards on 10 carries while scoring three touchdowns. Nathanile Ferry contribued 52 yards on his 5 carries.

Eagles had 5 penalties for 37 yards. Eagles forced two tunrovers while refraining from turnovers on their end. Fisher and Pankey each had an interception in the game.

Sir Alloway had 5 assisted and 5 solo tackles on the night. Drew Fisher had 7 total tackles and the interception. Avery Alday and Caden Wicks contrbuted six total tackles and Gavin Roddy was in on 5 tackles. Wicks had two tackles for loss and Fisher also had a tackle for loss.
