After the meet, RCHS Cross County coach Amy Baird said, "I always go into the first meet of the season with no expectations. This year, that its especially true because our practices have been interuptted first by the storms and then the heat. So these kids have had to do quite a bit of training on their own. I give them credit because overall our runners ran very respectable times for the first meet of the season. And, on top of that, we did really well versus the competition. So I think it's a great start and look forward to what this season holds!"
