Philip Eugene “Smoke” Everett Obituary

August 27, 1955 - December 10, 2024

Philip Eugene “Smoke” Everett, age 69 of Dayton, passed away at Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, on August 27, 1955, the son of the late Otto and Sylvia (Kline) Everett. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pam Everett.

Smoke was a high school graduate, lived in Dayton since 1982, and built bridges for road construction. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was baptized in the nursing home where he lived.

Smoke is survived by his brother, Mack Everett of Sale Creek and his nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service for Smoke at a later date, and he will be laid to rest on Everett Hill in Graysville.
