Dayton, TN - 2/7/24

Margaret Virginia (Riley) Millard, age 98 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at her home. She was born in Dayton on July 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Jesse C. and Alma (Burchard) Riley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, L. C. Millard and her two brothers, Carl K. Riley and Harold Joe Riley.

Margaret graduated from Rhea Central High School, Class of 1942 and attended Abel Business School. She was employed as a loan officer for 24 years at First American Bank, which became Dayton Bank and Trust, and then became Regions Bank. She attended Graysville Church of Christ.

Margaret is survived by her brother-in-law, Pat Millard of Dayton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Margaret will be in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Buttram Cemetery after the service.
