Evensville, TN -- Michael Donald Morton, age 67 of Evensville, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in Knoxville. He was born in Dayton on April 4, 1956, the son of the late Wilbur and Dixie (Roddy) Morton. He was also preceded in death by his three sisters, Louise Keys, Vivian Smith, and Pat Randolph.

Michael lived in Dayton and Evensville his whole life. He was a graduate of Rhea Central High School, Class of 1974. He was employed in quality control at Kayser-Roth for many years and attended Smyrna Baptist Church.

Michael is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan Yvonne (Maynor) Morton of Evensville and his three brothers, George Morton of Knoxville, Henry (Joyce) Morton of Potomac, MD, and Ben (Cathy) Morton of Knoxville.

A graveside funeral service for Michael will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton.
