Mandy Elizabeth Dinkens age 80 of Cookeville, Tennessee died on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at her residence.

She was born on January 26, 1944 in Grandview, Tennessee to the late Gaither and Ruthie Frye Riggs. Mandy loved to play the guitar. She enjoyed her family and eating out. Mandy was of the Baptist faith.

Mandy is also preceded in death by her sisters Mamie Brown, Lilly Cox, Marie Lemons, Hattie Riggs, and Hazel Riggs, and her brothers Roy, Jim, Edgar, Junior, and Johnny Riggs.

Survivors include her children Randy (Rebecca) Dinkens of Ft. Meyers, Florida, Barbara (Chad) Speicher of Edon, Ohio, Jimmy Dinkens of Grandview, Tennessee, Sandra Yates of Crossville, Tennessee and Danny (Charlotte) Dinkens of Tracy City, Tennessee; her six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Waldo officiating. Interment will follow in Ewing Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home
