August 5, 1973 - June 18, 2024

Kristen Letitia Jones, age 50 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at her home. She was born in Soddy-Daisy on August 5, 1973, the daughter of Ronald Tawater and Karen (Bright) Cline who both survive her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Edith Tawater, and William and Barbara Reichman; and her father-in-law, Morris Ray Chadwick.

Kristen lived in Dayton since 2013, previously living in Soddy-Daisy and Red Bank. She graduated from Soddy-Daisy High School and Chattanooga State as a Pharmacy Technician. Most recently she was employed as a stacker at Dominion Box Company of Dayton. She loved riding with her husband on their motorcycle.

In addition to her parents, Ronald (Melanie) Tawater of Red Bank, and her mother, Karen (Jerry) Cline of Soddy-Daisy, Kristen is survived by her husband, John Jones of Dayton; her son, Hunter (Charity) Sweeton of Ringgold, GA; her four grandchildren, Madeline Powell, Peyton Sweeton, Camden Sweeton, and Huntley Sweeton; her five brothers, Shawn Tawater, Doug (Shannon) Cline, Mike (Von) Cline, Scott (Lynne) Cline, and Adam (Jenna) D’Lllard; her sister, Holly (Stan) Ingram; her mother-in-law, Jackie Chadwick; her uncle, Mark Tawater; her aunt, Pamela (John) Morrow; and her 13 nephews and nieces, Connor Ingram, Lovey D’Lllard, Lilly Morrow, Hannah Rose Morrow, Trent Cline, Scott (Crystal) Cline, Trace (Elizabeth) Cline, Taylor (Amy) Cline, Elizabeth (Elijah) Grimm, Emily (Brandon) White, Ben Cline, Delaney Cline, and Annalee Cline.

Funeral service for Kristen will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Woychuk officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
