Nancy Sharp Obituary

October 26, 1945 ~ February 10, 2025

Nancy Ellen Sharp, age 79, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Rhea Medical Center.  She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of The Dayton Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents; John and Faye Howerton Sharp, sisters; Myrtle Ann Sharp and Virginia Sharp, brothers; Jack, Fred and John Sharp and nieces; Cammie Renee Wilson and Andre Lambert, and Carlos and nephew; Danny Floyd.   Nancy loved going to church and worshipping the Lord, she enjoyed looking through thrift shops, cooking and eating good food and spending time with her family.  Nancy was so proud and honored to serve for 25 years on the board of the Dayton Housing authority.  Her input was invaluable to the community, and they were honored that she could be a part of this program.  

Nancy is survived by many family members who loved her so much including sisters; Phyllis Sharp and Anita Bettis both of Buffalo, NY, nieces and nephews; Hayden, Keion, Sayde, Gabby, Jamarion, Zion and Ramello Sharp, Anthony, Kenny, Donald, Kurt, Juanita, Danika, Mandleto, Nicky, Mitchelyn Grant, Felisha, Terriele and Terrell, Petra (Timothy) Guilman and sons- Theodore and Alexander Guilman,  Deborah, Trina, Emma,  Gabrielle, Santana, Kamron, Donovan, Kevin, Corey (Jahnay) Wilson and son Zahmari, Tyrone, Quinn and Aaron Lambert, Desmond, Julian and Katie Sharp, Trina (Frank) Levengood, Dylan and Devin, Brittany Caraway, Jessica, Monique and Terry.  

There will be a memorial visitation on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 2-4PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
