Louise Chapman age 99 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at her residence.
She was born on January 19, 1926 in Macon, Georgia to the late Coley and Myrtis Lewis Scott and has lived in this area since 2016. Louise attended school in Bibb County, Georgia. She worked as a telephone operator during World War II. Louise loved to cook, spend time with her family, and read her Bible. She was of the Baptist faith.
Louise is also preceded in death by her first husband Albert Thomas, her second husband George Chapman, her daughter RushannThomas, her brother Bobby Scott, her sister Anne Middleton, and her grandson Scott Thomas.
Survivors include her children Wayne (Louise) Thomas of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, Andy (Tammy) Thomas of Spring City, Tennessee, Scott (Diane) Thomas of Forsyth, Georgia, Karen (Frank) Salano of Tucson, Arizona; her step son Michael Brooks of Lawrenceville, Georgia; her brother Ronnie Scott of Ackerman, Mississippi; her 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Macon Memorial Park, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia 31204, with Rev. Keith Brooks officiating. There will be no visitation.
