Lee Allen Poole, 80, of Sale Creek, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was born June 27, 1944, in Sale Creek, to the late Creed Sr. and Mildred Crawley Poole.
Lee was a member of Lake Drive Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 40 years. He was a 1963 graduate of Sale Creek High School and retired from Fuji Hunt Specialty Products in Dayton. Lee loved sports of all kinds, most notably NASCAR Racing and Bass fishing. He was a devoted father, family man, friend, and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife of 45 years, Donna Daniel Poole. Lee is survived by his daughter Brandi Poole Jewell and son in law Jamie Jewell of Dayton, brother; Creed Poole Jr, of Soddy Daisy, and sister; Gail Newell of Dayton, as well as many extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to thank the Dialysis Clinic of Dayton for the exceptional care given to Lee over the last 3 ½ years.
Services for Lee will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home. Dr. David Haynes and Rev. Bob Schafer will be officiating. Interment will follow at Rhea Memory Gardens, where he will be laid to rest next to his loving wife. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 5-9 PM.
