Kay Walters passed away October 12, 2024, at the age of 65. She was a life-long resident of Dayton, TN where she was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Evensville, TN. Kay was blessed with a large and loving family who cherished her deeply. On March 7, 1981, she married her best friend, Mike Walters, whom she met at the bowling alley. Two years later, on their wedding anniversary, Melissa was born, followed by Michael and Jason. Together they raised their three children and enjoyed 43 beautiful years of marriage. Kay was the embodiment of kindness, beauty, love, and intelligence. She had a passion for gardening, painting, and spending time outdoors. She loved listening to music, reading her Bible, shopping for sweaters, and enjoying home-cooked meals. She also took pleasure in fishing, bowling, golfing, being the world’s best mother, and playing with her grandchildren. Family gatherings brought her immense joy, where stories were shared, laughter echoed, and love flowed freely. Kay was the most wonderful mother, wife, sister and friend anyone could ever ask for. She was full of wisdom and always ready to offer advice. She had a deep love for the church and a strong faith in God, which she lovingly shared with people. She is now at peace after a four-year battle, watching over her family from heaven above. Kay will be loved and missed forever. Her vibrant spirit and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone around her. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her memory will live on in our hearts and the countless beautiful moments we shared.
