Johnson's Taekwondo Academy Raises $6,500 For Cancer

Dayton, TN -- The 5th Annual Cancer Fundraiser for Johnson TaeKwonDo Academy and the academy students raised a grand total of $6,500.00 for St. Jude's Hospital for 2019. We could not have don that without parents volunteering their time and without the contributions of local businesses.

Brannon Johnson, owner of JTA, said, " Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not. - Dr. Seuss."

"Today was a success! I’m am so proud to have such a compassionate group of young students! The eagerness that exudes from our students to do more for others, especially kids their ages they have not and may never meet is so inspiring! That’s what makes this event so special. Kids raising money to help other kids and their families! This is why we do what we do! TaeKwonDo is not a sport, it’s a lifestyle! Seeing what we work so hard on the mats to instill in our students flow over into the community lets me know that we are doing something right!"
