New Coach For New Team For Spring City Middle School

Evensville, TN -- On Monday, August 12, 2024 at 4 pm, Rhea Middle Tennis will face off against Spring City Middle Tennis team, which will be a first. Spring City recently left the cooperative contract that allowed Spring City students to play on the Rhea Middle School team. The new Spring City Middle School tennis team will be coached by Hanna Logsdon. She played tennis for long-time Rhea County High School tennis coach Lil Andrews before graduating from Rhea County High School in 2022. From Rhea County Logsdon recently finished her two years at Roane State Community College, where she played volleyball.

Hanna is now employed at Spring City City Middle School. Logsdon will have a very inexperienced team this year and the building process will be long-term.

Spring City has two courts. These courts were built earlier this year and will allow Spring City students to practice at Spring City Middle School They will play one match at the Spring City courts against Rhea Middle School later this year. The other home matches will be played in Evansville on the very new courts that were broken in by the RCHS tennis team earlier this year. It is great to see new facilities being utilized for the students of Rhea County.
