Dennis Jerrold Sullivan, Jr., age 61 of Rockwood, TN, passed away May 22, 2025, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton. He was born in Pasadena, California, on August 11, 1963, the son of Dennis and Martha (Matheny) Sullivan, Sr., of Rockwood, who survive him.
Dennis lived in Rockwood and was employed at Air Concept Industries developing, designing, and manufacturing products with various patents for paintballs and paintball guns and accessories. He was also a machinist and supervisor at Sullivan Machine Products. Dennis enjoyed nature and loved to go boating and fishing on the river, doted on his four cats, and built jon boats. He grew up in the Baptist faith and was a Junior Deacon at the Kare Youth Church in Arcadia, CA, when he was younger.
In addition to his parents, Dennis is survived by his wife of 21 years, Julie Christine (Beck) Sullivan of Rockwood; his three sons, Darren (Jennifer) Sullivan of Farragut, TN, Darrick (Fiancée Amena) Sullivan of Portland, OR and Jerden (Shelby) Sullivan of Niota, TN; his daughter, Serena Sullivan of Rockwood; his step-daughter, Azzalie (Angel) Perez of San Dimas, CA; his brother, Gregory (Jeannette) Sullivan of Yucaipa, CA; his nephew, Brandon Jensen; and his six grandchildren.
Funeral services for Dennis will be in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Rigsby Cemetery, Pikeville, TN.
