Dayton City Varsity Has Wins over Athens City, Meigs, Spring City, Chilhowee and McMinn East

Dayton, TN -- Dayton City School Opened season with five consecutive varsity wins before dropping their first match vs Rhea Middle on Thursday, February 17, 2022. The Junior Varisty team is 6-0, with wins over Athens City, Meigs, Spring City, Chilhowee, McMinn East and Rhea Middle. Sixth grade team is 0-2, with losses to Rhea Middle and Spring City. Hannah Watson, Paige Eakins and Morgan Boyton are coaching Dayton City this year.

On February 17th the county teams played two competitive matches with Rhea Middle coming out on top with 25-16 and 25-17 scores. Rhea Middle won sixth-grade contest with 25-14 and 25-13. Dayton City Junior Varsity won their match. DCS won by scores of 25-22 and 25-22.
