Corey Michael West, of Dayton, TN, passed away at the tender age of 18, on June 20, 2024, from Juvenile Huntington’s Disease. Corey attended Frazier Elementary, Dayton City School and Skyuka Hall. Corey loved cars and everything about cars. He was loved by all and had the sweetest smile that would light up any room. Corey never met a stranger, EVERYONE was his friend, and his hugs were amazing and abundant. There’s absolutely nothing that can compare to the joy from simply his smile.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Jennifer (Jonathon) Christian, father, Dustin West, sisters, Samantha Hamby and Savannah Richardson, brother, Alex Christian, granny and best friend, Cynthia Shick, nephew Jaxon Hamby and niece, Michelle Hamby. He is also survived by his aunts Christina Rochelle, Melissa Richardson, Amanda Richardson, Katrina Hastings, Debbie West, aunts and uncles, Jerel and Tami West and Adam and Marie West, grandparents; Karyn Richardson, Denny and Jackie Bible, Art and Bobbie Richardson,  Glenda Christian and Gary and Brenda West. Cousins; Darnell Brandon, Ana Zahn, Leilani Richardson, Jaxx Zahn, Mila Perez, Elyana Richardson and Scarlett Campbell. He was preceded in death by his papaw, Stephen Richardson. 

Funeral services for Corey will be Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 4PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Brother Stanley Faulkner officiating.  Visitation will be from 2PM until the start of the service. 

At 5 there will be dinner at Faith Baptist Church 273 Old Graysville Rd. Dayton.
