April 10, 1943 - August 31, 2024

Marsha Cawood Evans 81 of Spring City died Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Life Care Center of Dayton.

Marsha was born on April 10, 1943 to the late Edward and Ruth Hassler Cawood. She attended Spring City High School. Marsha had numerous occupations, but her love was arranging flowers. She worked for several florists in Spring City and owned her own florist at one time. Marsha served  a term on the Spring City Commission and was of the Baptist faith.

Marsha was also preceded in death by her husband Floyd “Tallman” Evans, her sister Annette Cawood, granddaughter Summer Thedford Harris and her son-in-law Jackie Motes.

Survivors include her children Billy (Amanda) Thedford, Sherry Motes and Julia Qualls all of Spring City, her sisters Linda (Fred Cotter) Spencer of Chattanooga, Eddie Ruth (Jim) Galloway of Spring City. Lisa Switter of Cleveland and Tracy Cawood of Dayton, grandchildren Chris Thedford, Kenny (Erika) Qualls, and Bradley (Meredith) Qualls and ten great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
