Dayton City will play home games at Rhea County High School Field
8/1/24 - Dayton City School - Dayton City School Football will play an 8 game schedule in 2024-25 and will play conference games vs Wartburg, Rockwood and Harriman. Due to unavailability of facilities at their old field, Sweatbees will be using Rhea County High School's field for home games. In total, Dayton City will play 3 games at Rhea County High School. Dayton will open on the road vs Grundy with a 7 pm game at Rhea County High School.
Dayton City presently has a 25 man roster for the season, with first game at home on a Saturday vs Grundy with 7 pm kickoff. Sweatbees will have 13 8th graders on this years team, with 7 returning starters from 2023-24 team.
First year coach Luke Barnes will lead Dayton City this year. Assisting Barnes will be Jake Miller (Defensive Coordinator) 3rd year, Brent Rapson (offensive line coach), Montrae Jackson (backs and receivers), and Mikey Daniels (defensive line) all first year with DCS Football.
