391 Seniors Recieve Diplomas For Rhea County High School

Evensville, TN -- Almost 400 Rhea County high School Seniors received diplomas for 2022 class. After procession, presentation of colors, Pledge to the Flag and National Anthem by RCHS Band, Rhea County Director of Schools Jesse Messimer delivered the director's welcome, followed by a welcome address by Michaela Raenne Taylor, the RCHS salutatorian. The commencement address was delivered by Barry West, the "Teacher of the Year" for Rhea County. Valedictorian Lauren Skylar Jenkins delivered her speech to the student body as they prepared to enter the college, military, job and other pathes after high school. Morgan Drew Fisher was awarded the 2022 Faulty Award during the ceremony. There were recogniztions for attendance and academic achievements. On stage were Rhea County School officials, and Rhea County Board of Education members. Diplomas were awarded and the new graduates celebrated with the symbolic toss of their caps.
