Harvest Archery Shooters Perform Well at Regional Tournament

 83 shooters representing 7 teams from 3 states

Dayton, TN -- The Harvest Archery youth competition team participated in The Tennessee Shootout’s regional tournament held at The Harvest Archery Pro Shop in Dayton on Friday, Jan 22 and Saturday, Jan 23. In attendance were 83 shooters representing 7 teams from 3 states. This was the first out of 4 competitions in the newly formed youth archery tournament series. Harvest shooters that placed: Eagle (ages 9-11) Shelby Gardner - Eagle Female Compound Open champion Ezra Ball - Eagle Male Compound Open 2nd place Youth (ages 12-14) Jackson Vatter - Youth Male Barebow champion Rebekah Horton - Youth Female Bowhunter Fixed Pin champion Lily Whitehorn - Youth Female Bowhunter Fixed Pin 2nd place Lilli Gardner - Youth Female Compound Open champion Elijah Anderson - Youth Male Compound Open 2nd place Young Adult (15-18) Sarah Horton - Young Adult Female Bowhunter Fixed Pin champion Gracie Boyd - Young Adult Female Bowhunter Fixed Pin 2nd place Taylor McCoy - Young Adult Female Compound Open champion Travis Burnette- Young Adult Male Compound Open 2nd place Luke Price - Young Adult Male Compound Open 3rd place Claire Krepps - Young Adult Female Olympic Recurve champion Harvest Archery also won team awards in the Youth and Young Adult categories for having the highest averages. Taylor McCoy was the only one from our team to score a 150. It was her first time scoring 150 and a personal best score of 150 14x.  There were 7 first places and only 1 was a boy. It was a girls weekend for sure.
