March 12, 1942 - February 12, 2025

Norma Gean Davis went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. She was born on March 12, 1942, to the late Avery and Mildred (Cox) Davis.
She was affectionately known as “Memaw” to her close family. Memaw loved flowers, strawberry ice cream, springtime, people, talking, and most importantly Jesus and her family.
She married Kenneth Davis on July 28, 1962, and together they had two daughters, Tammie and Rhonda. Despite 17 years of marriage, in true Norma fashion, she proved to be too feisty, stubborn, and independent for Kenneth. Together, Norma, Tammie, and Rhonda created a new life. Norma taught her girls what unconditional love was and what grit and determination looked like.
Years down the road she was blessed with two sons-in-law, Tracy Roberts and Michael Martin. Later on, she was blessed with three of her favorite people (sorry Tammie and Rhonda), her grandkids, Amanda Roberts, Levi Roberts, and Madison Martin.
Memaw loved fiercely and like no other. She loved Jesus and her grandkids most of all.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Robinson, “baby sister”, Glenda Douglas, and Reba Bernardo; her brothers, Ernie, Alvin, and Lynn Cox.
Norma leaves behind a legacy of love and familial bonds that can’t be broken. She also leaves behind a sister, Judy Isles, and brother, Bobby (Ruby) Cox, several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Bertha Rice, Becky Guinn, Brenda Morgan and Carolyn Isles.
Funeral services for Norma will be in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Page officiating.
