John Raymond Couture, age 65 of Dayton, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 5, 2024. He was born in San Francisco on September 29, 1959, the son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Nolan) Couture. He was also preceded in death by his son, Joseph Couture.

John moved to Dayton in 2021 after living in Copperopolis, California. He was a high school graduate and a union carpenter in commercial construction. He enjoyed cars, fishing, boating, and camping.

John is survived by his wife, Debra Lynn (Brown) Stratton of Dayton; his children, Michael (Rachael) Stratton of Soddy-Daisy and Misty Stratton of Copperopolis, California; his grandchildren, Mya, Gabriel, Jasmine, Mackenzie, and Kaiden; his great-granddaughter, Vivian; his brother, Tom Couture of Texas; and his sisters, Mary (John) Roan of Texas and Katy Figueroa of California.

There will be no services for John at this time.
