13 Rhea Middle Soccer Players and Families Honored

Evensville, TN -- After continuing their unbeaten season with 8-0 win over Lake Forest Middle on Tuesday, 9/20/2022, thirteen eighth graders were celebrated for their contributions for soccer. Escorted by parents/guardians, and watched by fans, family and school officials, the players were shown appreciation by those in attendance. 12 players were on the field as one Baylynn Butler was traveling with her parents Keith and Stacy Butler.

Those being celebrated were: Peyton Axmacher, escorted by Joshua and Erica Axmacher, Avery Dyer with Adam and Kristi Dyer, Stephanie Eakins, escorted by Steven and Paige Eakins, Molly Hughes, escorted by Paige and Emily Hughes, Kiera Graham and Peytan Graham, escorted by Douglas and Candice Graham, Darcy Kelly, escorted by Johnny and Lorissa Cannon, Sophia Ramirez, escorted by Hugo and Tonya Ramirez, Jetta Sharp, escorted by Jill Sharp, Lilah Sullivan, escorted by Clint and Jill Sullivan, Fiona Vickers, escorted by Joseph Vickers, and Emerson White, escorted by Jason and Cayce White,

Coaches Mark Palmer and Audrey Normal took time to give thanks to everyone who made this season and event successful. They thanked the parents, players, school officials, and others. Coach Palmer also thanked the Rhea County Community Center youth soccer program for their contributions to preparing these players for the next level. The Lady Eagles have one more game on the road at Cleveland on Thursday before post-season begins.

Special thanks were also given for team manager Emily Parker, Johnny Cannon for running scoreboard, Clint Sullivan for team action pics, Ernie Harris and Gary Bolden for Herald News and Rhea County Magazine coverage and Kristi Dyer, Candice Graham, Cayce White, Paige Eakins and Ginny Willis for their work on the 8th-grade ceremony.
