Lady Sweatbees Finish 4th in SETAC

Dayton, TN -- The Dayton City School volleyball team finished the season 8-5 overall and finished 4th place in SETAC. Dayton City finished the season with a semifinal loss to Ocoee Middle School in two games with 25-11 and 25-8 losses to give Ocoee the match win. Ocoee would go on to win the SETAC Tournament title with win over Lake Forest to finish the season 15-1.

Several sweatbees made the All-Tournament Team: # 1 Ella Kelley, # 3 Brie James, # 8 Keira Graham, # 12 Neylee Poole, # 13 Hannah Watson, #16 peytan Graham, #22 Brylee Pelfrey, # 23 Jetta Sharp, # 26 Parker Tidwell, # 27 Kirra Garmany and # 34 Holly Smith.

Coach Haley Sue Johnson said, " As their head coach I could not be more proud of these girls. It was a tough loss for all of us, but one thing I always tell these girls is that they can’t win or lose by themselves. We win as a team and we lose as a team. I hope they see what they have accomplished since the first day of practice, and realize they have had a winning season!"
